RAI uses variable rate technology to increase productivity and decrease overapplication. Yield monitor technology and soil testing data generates management zones within their fields.  Variable rate technology allows seed, nitrogen, and fertilizer to be applied at different rates across each management zone. Prescription seeding, fertilizer, and nitrogen are essential for RAI to reduce input costs and produce high yields each year.
